Elliott Hanna │ Billy Elliot The Musical

Elliott Hanna

In this edition of Angel Watchers, I am featuring Elliott Hanna who stars in the Victoria Palace Theatre's  production of "Billy Elliot The Musical", in London's West End.  At the age of ten he was the youngest boy to ever play that part in England.  Elliott, who is from Liverpool, is an outstanding dancer in every way.  He started to learn to dance at age four.  In the video at the top, Elliott appears in an ensemble of dancers doing a "Billy Elliot The Musical" number called "Electricity", at the AVRO Musical Sing-A-Long, that was recorded on September 1, 2014 in Amsterdam.  The other dancers in the cast are Jillis, Carlos, Stijn, Venno, Tydo, and Roan, who take turns playing Billy in the Dutch production of "Billy Elliot The Musical". The video in the middle is a cool interview with Elliott Hanna.  By-the-way, I forgot to mention that I saw "Billy Elliot The Musical Live" twice since it opened in Honolulu this past Wednesday, and it kept getting better with each viewing.  I can't wait to buy the DVD.  Elliott Hanna's performance can only be described as being preternaturally moving for the soul.  I wept profusely throughout the presentation.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Tuck Me In │ Luka Schardan

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring an incredible one-minute short film from Spanish director Ignacio F. Rodó, which was adapted from a story by Juan J. Ruiz.  It's called "Tuck Me In", and it has won numerous awards in various international film festivals.  Luka Schardan who plays "Alex", and Mark Schardan who plays his father, appear to be stunningly natural in the film, which is not surprising as they are father and son in real life.  "Tuck Me In" is Angel Watchers way of dressing up in a scary Halloween costume and jumping out from behind a tree, and saying. "Boo!"  Trick-or-Treat to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Found DVD

The "Found" DVD is finally being released after languishing in limbo since 2012.  It was the most sought out DVD on the internet this past two years.  Only 1000 copies were originally made, and they sold out incredibly fast.  I saw second-hand copies of "Found" being sold for over a hundred dollars each on various websites.    To say the least, director Scott Schirmer's "Found" is the most sensational coming-of-age, horror movie of the Twenty-First Century.  "Found" has layers, and layers, of deep meaning, and unexpected surprises.  By-the-way, Gavin Brown is superb as Marty.  As the "Found" promotional tag says "Marty loved horror movies... until his life turned into one."  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Gotham │ David Mazouz

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring David Mazouz, who stars as the young Bruce Wayne (Batman) in the new TV series "Gotham" that will be starting in the Fall.  This looks to be a hit show.  By-the-way, Gotham City has an insanely cool Gothic look.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Alec J. Fischer │ Alec in WILDerland

I have featured Alec several times in the past on Angel Watchers, and I felt that it was about time I brought him back again.  I'm just amazed that Alec in WILDerland has not hit big-time in mainstream America.  Outside of the internet, he has a very low footprint in the current entertainment scene.  His YouTube channel should have millions of subscribers, but so far he has only has about 5,000.  He has not to my knowledge, appeared on any TV show on any major network in the United States.  It's my personal opinion that Alec has the best channel on YouTube without question, and he deserves a lot more recognition.  Click on this link to visit Alec in WILDerland on YouTube: Alec in WILDerland Official YouTube Channel   Please support Alec by subscribing to his channel.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Under The Bed │ Gattlin Griffith

In this edition of Angel Watchers I'm featuring a great horror film called "Under The Bed", starring Gattlin Griffith as "Paulie".  You should watch this movie with all the lights on.  It's that scary.  I watched it last night on my iPod and it really frightened me.  The plot is about two brothers who band together to battle a creature who is living under Paulie's bed.  "Under The Bed" has been called a suburban nightmare.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Found │ Gavin Brown

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring Scott Schirmer's horror masterpiece "Found", starring Gavin Brown.  This is the movie to watch in 2014, though it is very hard to find.  Gavin Brown is sensational as "Marty".  He is so good that even though this is a horror flick, he makes it feel like a coming-of-age movie.  I watched it on my iPod last night, intending to watch only a few minutes of it, but instead, I was mesmerized, and watched the whole thing in one sitting.  It is one hour and forty-two minutes of extreme cinema.  Unfortunately though, this movie is very hard to find on the internet.  Only one-thousand copies of the DVD were made in a very special edition, and these have sold out a long time ago.  If you really want it, second hand copies of the "Found" DVD are selling on various websites for over one-hundred dollars.  I don't know why, but "Found" was never released theatrically.  Instead, it has be shown in various film festivals throughout the United States, and has won numerous awards.  Since it originally came out in 2012, it is unlikely to ever be coming to your neighborhood theater any time soon.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Life Goes On │ The Odd Life Of Timothy Green

  CJ Adams

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring "Life Goes On" from "The Odd Life Of Timothy Green".  It's one of my most favorite movies and songs.  CJ Adams is the star of the movie.  Incidentally, he is also featured in the new "Godzilla" movie.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Ronan Parke │ Rainbow Connection

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring the incredible Ronan Parke.  This song and video is so amazing it really does not need any introduction.  The "Rainbow Connections" is one of the best music videos on the internet at this time.  Thank you Ronan Parke for the "Rainbow Connection", it really has brightened my day. Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Cody Piper │ Johnnny - The True Story Of A Civil War Legend

In the edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring "Johnny - The True Story Of A Civil War Legend", starring Cody Piper.  It is not well known that during the American Civil War, over 10,000 Union soldiers were under the age of 18, and that many of them were younger than 12.  The Confederacy supposedly had many times that number of underage soldiers.  These brave boy-soldiers served mostly as drummer boys, but they also performed other tasks such as carrying secret messages across enemy lines, and also engaged in actual combat.  Cody Piper plays the part of "Johnny Joseph 'Lincoln' Clem", who joins the Union Army at the age of twelve.  He had a remarkable life during the Civil War and was praised and honored for his military service by high ranking officers, even by General Grant himself.  Johnny eventually retired on August 15, 1915 at the age of 64 as a Brigadier General.  On August 29, 1916 he was promoted to the rank of Major General which was the custom at that time for retirees.  He died on May 13, 1937 and is buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, located in Arlington, Virginia.  Johnny was the last Civil War veteran to serve in the U.S, Army.  Cody Piper does a remarkable job as "Johnny".  He is very likable and brings a lot of charm and grace to a movie that has such a grim subject matter.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.

Mystical Angels │ Libera

In this edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring a special version of the "Ave Maria" written by Caccini, and performed by Libera.  This particular rendition of the "Ave Maria" is extraordinary because it has been slowed down eight times, and this makes the voices of Libera sound so ethereal.  By-the-way, the soloist is Tom Cully.  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.
